Greetings,
This post is for the dog dads/fathers out there. Happy belated Father's Day and National Dog Dad's Day. Being a dog dad continues to be a very rewarding experience.
Dogs are called "man's best friend" for good reason. They don't come to you with tasks they want you to complete or errands they want you to run like your wife does. My relationship with my dogs is more simple than that. They love me unconditionally without asking for much. The feeling I get seeing their excitement when I come home and how closely they pay attention to me when I'm giving a training command is nothing but joy. Sometimes I almost take that granted when I want to relax, but knowing that they are living to please me pushes me to go for that walk, play session, or windows-down car ride.
What is your favorite part of being a dog dad?
Stay blessed,
Alton
